This is true - was talking to a publicity director of a well known large company that is looking for a model girl to be "the face of the company" for a forthcoming advert series (including print and TV adverts). The girl chosen is looking to make a small fortune, but will virtually be contracted to the company for about 18 months, including overseas travel.

Among the requirements sent out to modelling agencies were:

Natural "girl-next-door" t ype.
Aged about 30-35.
