Have you ever noticed that despite the number of poker tournaments they enter, we've never seen Gaz and Victoria Coren in the same room at the same time.....suspicious, eh?

Going entirely O/T - Victoria Coren's voice does my head in :/
Alright, just thought i'd start a thread on babes wishlists cause its something that kind of annoys me, why anyway would buy anything for a good lookin girl they sees on telly is beyond me, but i just think that the girls that put up the wishlists are takin the piss really, any thoughts on it more than welcome.

Absolutely agree. It almost seems like a form of begging to me and I think the girls who do it come across as cheap. But it obviously works. There's always gonna be guys who think it makes them "special" by buying the "gifts". It's all about feeding the fantasy
I think it's repulsive that these women will openly exploit the poor, misguided fools who would buy them something. And yes, buying these girls gifts is foolish. As much as I love some of these women, we have to pay to talk to them, they don't do it out of the kindness of their hearts so while you might fool yourself into thinking there's some kind of connection and get a crush on them, start buying gifts etc. just take a step back and think about how ludicrous it is.
fair enough you think its repulsive but i couldnt care less about wishlists, if a babe wants to do one fine, if someone wants to buy something off the wishlist fine let them.
I couldn't care less either, but I do find it a bit lame on their behalf. They know someone will buy them tons of gifts, which is why they have these lists, but I think it's dangerous of them to do so. The last thing they want is to attract some psycho who is angry that they've bought them gifts, and that the women won't talk to them etc. These women need to be more careful I think as there are plenty of crazy people in the U.K.

I would never buy any gifts for the women, especially not as I'm the casual viewer, not that I would ever expect anything in return either. Now, if I happened to hook up with any of these women, then I might buy them a little gift just for fun, though only if it was a non escort situation, and I didn't have to pay for sex. An escort situation would be like a business deal, with no feelings, seeing how the women would have no feelings toward you, so the payment would be the end of it. If it was a random hookup, then perhaps you could assume that the woman was attracted to you and liked something about you, so buying them a small gift that wasn't too desperate or lavish would be fine afterwards, like a cute gesture to show that you had a good time (I think lunch or dinner at a nice restaurant would be more appropriate though!). I couldn't date a babe channel woman, as it would be a hassle, so there would never be any feelings on my end, at least not enough to want to try for a relationship.

On the one hand I do find wishlists tacky, but if fans insist on sending stuff they might as we receive something that wont end up in the bin.
