I will say this Doddle: -
She has shown why we voted her Daytime Queen twice in the St66 Daytime Awards, and tbh, her rightful place in the Hall of Fame is long overdue, whether it is Night show or Daytime, she makes it look so easy and effortless, and I just wonder why so many never match her standards at times.

Only Lola Knight has made it very close to what Fernanda does at night time for me. Some might disagree with me and that's fine, all I know is Fernanda is on the channels not for very much longer for us and we should enjoy and make the most of what screen appearances she has left, which by my reckoning is probably around only 10 to 20 appearances left.

I think that Fernanda's success is due to three things.

1. She's a very clever person with an ethic to be proud of.
2. When referring to conversations on the telephone, (possibly as a result of English being not her first language) Fernanda remarked live on the mic (a couple of years ago) that ''This is hard''. When conversing, I think she sees it as more than just chatting.
3. Remember when Fernanda did the Q & A. She made a point of shutting down the 'phone. One thing at a time.

Currently she's appearing roughly every ten days (which seems about right for a retiree) with her next on Tuesday 22nd of September. Having projected such periods I make it ten shows finishing before Christmas (the latter confirmed live on the mic last night).
Fernanda reiterated that she would confirm dates but I'd have thought that announcement's some weeks away yet.

I can't see that any category we may have does justice to Fernanda's achievements and the regard for which she's held and that we need to think about how to mark her retirement.
