mcdowell, westwood, cavendish. they should have an award for the most consistent preformer then taylor and mccoy would win
I would personally love to see Phil "The Power" Taylor win it but sadly i dont think he will, as darts doesnt get the recognition as a "sport", that it deserves. I think it'll be between Lee Westwood, Graeme McDowell, AP McCoy. Any of these would also be a fitting and deserving winner.
Swann to win for me, if not him then Westwood

Has to be Tom Daly for me,he is still only 16yrs old,and World Champion.
It should be a dead-heat between A.P and Taylor, 2 of the greatest champions of their own sports these shores have ever seen, just because they are classified as 2 minority sports doesn`t dilute what the have achieved over the years even their opponents throughout their time at the top would agree too, the dedication through injuries in A Ps case and immense amount of practice Taylor puts in just to stay ahead of a younger breed doesn`t bear thinking about
Just a reminded that it's on BBC1 tonight at 7pm and on Radio 5 Live at the same time.
The truth is that although Taylor may deserve it the most, his sport doesn't get as much coverage as other sports, or even as much recognition that it is a sport. For these reasons, and it would be a disapointment for me, I don't think Taylor will win.

I predict the winner will come from Swann, McCoy, Ennis, McDowell or Westwood.

I'd agree with that. I fancy McCoy right now to take it.

I don't think Taylor has a chance. Just making the list is his reward and to make the top three would be better still.
