I'm using an iPhone to cap straight from the stream and theres no option to change what format it saves in

I use ImageMagick in linux. I just type in a terminal
convert filename.png newfilename.jpg
Its almost instantaneous.
It can also crop, resize and create montages among other things. Its very powerful.
The program is also available for Windows users and is free.

I think it also has a GUI, but I use the command line since I have created various scripts which can batch process my screenshots.

Maybe some nice kind person can let AstonV1 know about this as well. laugh
I couldn't get that to work, so I have to use the photoshop express app on my phone to rotate the photo and save which at the same time converts it

Jesus, now that's a blast from the past. I used that program more than 15 years ago. Surprised It was just called Irfan then though.

It was, a cracking little package. I used it to rip AVI's, as you could tell the program to rip every frame from a video, and save it as a jpg. Big Grin

I had no idea it was still going.
