We're looking into what the issue is with it. Changes were being made to the service yesterday and we've also been experiencing internet connectivity problems overnight, so it could be to do with either of those things.

The rolleyes smiley was not displayed correctly in your post since some text was added between ":" and "rolleyes:"
It should be "" (without the quotes) which gives Rolleyes

Storm, if you read back through this thread a little you'll see that CP were having this problem before. Your not able to transmit the data fast enough for your current quality settings, which is causing the flow-player to stop and buffer whilst it receives more data. I said last time, the only way to correct it was to increase your up-load speed. Or turn down the quality slightly.
Thanks for this. We ran some tests today for the upload and also switched the stream to a different connection and it all seemed fine, I have a feeling that there might have been a problem with the server end of things but haven't been able to clarify.

I spent some time yesterday looking into different options to increase the upload speed and the only option is to get a dedicated line installed (which is surprisingly costly) which we're hoping to organise soon. The bad news is that the lead time for the install is 65 days, so it won't be a fast process.

The stream is currently running from the studio at a very low bandwidth, so it's a question of working out what's more preferable, a sometimes jumpy screen or an even lower quality one until the connectivity issue is resolved.

Well currently you are transmitting at a resolution of 640x480 (4:3 Aspect). You could alter the encoder to transmit at 640x360 (16:9 Aspect). You will save on bandwidth, without having to reduce quality.

It's one option you could try.

All the best

Ace.
Sorry l couldn't resist putting this video on with a bit of music added.Smile

Having exhausted all options we're pleased to tell you that we will be ordering a dedicated line for the web feed. It will take in the region of 60 working days to install (outrageous but also out of our control) but when fixed will mean that the stream will be on a managed line and at a constant upload speed so there should be no problems with it!
