You'll be lucky to get any acknowledgement out of them docutech, never mind a response.

If your on about their webstream not having any sound, then it's been like that for a while.

They used to have sound, which is why the player still has a volume control. But it's just there for show at present.

If you read my previous post, you will understand, they are struggling to upload the picture, never mind about adding sound to it.

Seems the initial guy that set-up the web services, neglected to set-up an adequate upload service. so until they get that sorted, a high quality stream with sound, is out of the question.
Thanks guys I thought sound was a long shot

Be interesting to know what proportion of guys use the web when calling. It's a pretty crucial media nowadays especially for a babechannel where calling can need a bit of privatecy and flexibility.

I generally call / view via Sky as there's only me here, but when things get a bit explosive on CP day even I need the web running efficiently as the neighbours think I'm a bit odd with the curtains pulled over at 2pm !

Right, we've actually got the equipment to play the sound out on the webstream but there's a problem with the mic/music balance (which is the reason that some viewers can't seem to hear the microphone). I'm trying to get hold of an audio engineer to look into it, but in the meantime (and because you've asked so nicely) we've put the webstream audio on - just don't come moaning to me about the poor quality!

Enjoy Smile
well done Kissit Wink

But today the channel is freezing all time. Sad If you tell me which i need video or audio to be fixed, i would say Video first bladewave
Well, a really big thank you to the tech guys for messing up another stream recording. Sad

There's me recording the stream, even though it has a 25 minute delay on it. And what do you guys do. reset the thing when she goes on her break, causing the stream to lose the last 25 minutes of Roxy's session. Sad

You know fine well what's causing the problem, and yet you seem quite content to add even more bit-rate to the upload stream, knowing fine well it will just make the problem worse.

Cheers guys, you've now got my vote, for the biggest fuck up of year awards. laugh

1. A new producer was working last night.

2. The bit-rate is manually set to stream at a lower quality.

3. When the OS crashes (which is OUTSIDE OF OUR CONTROL) the streaming software automatically defaults to a higher setting (WHICH IS ALSO OUTSIDE OF OUR CONTROL)

4. I have posted on here numerous times to say that we're working on the problem.

5. I have posted an e-mail address on here to report any problems on the stream but no one has used it. If there was a 25 minute delay yesterday and it was brought to our attention, this would not have happened.

Fair Enough, but the producer should be interested in keeping the show running smoothly, not the webstream. That should be down to your webmaster.

If it can be manually set, then it's not outside your control. OS crashes, happen, we all understand that. But if your trying to tell me you don't even have control over your own streaming software defaults, then that's bullshit. All software defaults can be set. your guys obviously don't know how to.

Why would I e-mail you about a problem you are already aware of. All I would get back, is another message saying "I'm not going over old ground - we know about it" or another PM saying "Shut the fuck up".

Now kissit, don't take any of this, as me getting at you, I'm not. This is directed at your tech guys and your webmaster.

All the best

Ace.
