Now she says they were told in emails. A few hours ago she stated that she personally told Alaska about the alleged 2 month arrangement. She resents Alaskas popularity and it colours her judgement.

If I were an employee of the channel, I would be wary of anything I said here or anywhere else public. Especially if any accusations are being thrown around, OR comments are made about the state of the company's finances. THAT is a quick way to be summarily dismissed without notice or payment in lieu of same.

As regards payment, payment dates, etc, that should all be set out in the terms of the contract of employment. If there is no contract of employment, or if there has been an alleged breach of the contract, I would be consulting an employment lawyer for advice.

Take it from someone whose most recent employment ended with lawyers being brought in, nothing is quite as simple as the lay person assumes it to be.
