Young women all beyond the age of consent who have been blessed with natural attributes (most of 'em anyway) who don't want to do proper, mundane jobs like you and I and want to earn good money and quite possibly become famous. Free to switch channels, publications etc (subject to contract). Free to do porn or not do porn. Free to go and do a 'normal' job that doesn't involve them performing for the sexual gratification of others for money. It is all about the money. People talk about loyalty .........bullshit. Elite girls have no contract!!! Great, so Elite can do a Carmen anytime they like but no doubt this is sold as a flexible arrangement. Try building a decent pension on that kind of 'loyalty'. I can see it suiting some girls (Danica springs to mind given any contract she signed would have been torn up long ago) and there is always that crossroads.... to porn or not to porn.....because very few girls reach a level of fame doing just glamour and babe channels to retire before they are 30. If someone like Bluebird comes along and offers a lot more money, a lot more exposure (literally!) and a bloody contract that guarantees income for longer than tomorrow night why shouldn't grown women make the switch? They may regret it later but I bet most of 'em won't when they look at their bank accounts. Maybe in the future when they have their daughter bouncing on their knee they might regret what they are doing or did to make a living and maybe they wouldn't want their daughter doing the same but it is THEIR choice. It may not be what they originally planned but hey, I wanted to be an Astronaut! Good luck to all the girls and I for one am glad they made their choices because I love 'em. Live long and prosper babes.Smile

2) Cash flow:
BlueBird has spent upwards of $15 million on building a vast library of porn productions. So it would seem that getting out their cheque book is not a problem. They seem focused on long term investment without the need to gain an immediate return.

Where did you get this figure from Vostok?
Ultimately Elite will either sort the situation or they wont. I would be lying if i said i especially cared other than being dissapointed that there are a couple of less channels to watch but I think the way they have ignored the goading from the Bluebird rep is a professional way to act, something Bluebird seem incapable of.

While I like you all probably welcome more choice for the punter, what i will say is that this industry is based on popularity. Be it website hits, tv ratings or dvd sales. And from a PR perspective Bluebird seem to be left wanting...badly. And in this day and age (unless Bluebird are 100% recession proof which as a company operating in a niche, lifestyle market i doubt) then I would have thought Bluebird would want to hang on to every single potential customer and not alienate them.

Bluebird seem to delight in letting everyone know just how big they are and how much money they have to spend, well General Motors probably had more money in their petty cash draw about a year ago than you lot have in total assets and hey just look what happened to them.
I don't think this Bluebird fella should be talking about weather or not Elite were going to offer a contract to Ashley its there business. Im not to fond of this fella comes across very arrogant. Keep up the good work Elite your still top dog for the moment long may it continue.

London playboy Paul Chaplin launched Bluebird Films with money from his international finance businesses and spent four years and $14 million to achieve his goal of building Britain's biggest adult studio.

That article is from last year.

We are simply answering questions put to us by Rammyrascal and others.
So you are saying that they have no right to ask their questions and it is unprofessional of us to answer them: and that the 'professional' response would be to ignore them.

You're free to say that: it just sounds strange to us.

Here we go again.
There is no 'goading' in making statements of fact: which is all we have done and will continue to do.
You should direct your post at those who post rubbish about this company, compelling us to respond with more statements of fact.
We are big, not because we spend more but because we earn more: unlike GM.
Am not saying people don't have the right to ask questions. All i was trying to say is when you start talking about how Elite were not going to offer a contract to Ashley and Ect is not your business to say especially as she still gets paid by Elite.

Oh and i have noticed some people say its like football players getting tapped up by other clubs. Well yes they do but quite often the club would get a hefty fine for tapping players up while the players are still under contract.

Well i wont complain at all these new girls that come on to our screens once your up and running. As more girls is what we want lol. On the other hand i still stand by you come across very arrogant in your post and if your loving every minute of it. How you have so much money n all that's all well good fella but you have to be able to make it work n it has seemed quite difficult for a few shows to manage. Oh and having over a 100 girls gonna be working on your channels its gonna be some wage bill you have coming in on top of the other bills Ect. Best hope your girls are gonna be popular on the phones bud.

I do predict this for the following reasons:

1) EPG Slots:
BlueBird are purchasing a number of them. Existing channels have decided to sell them. When you occupy the majority of EPG slots, you become the predominate presence.

2) Cash flow:
BlueBird has spent upwards of $15 million on building a vast library of porn productions. So it would seem that getting out their cheque book is not a problem. They seem focused on long term investment without the need to gain an immediate return.

3) Borrowed time:
One of the major players is on their final strike. Any further infraction could result in Ofcom pulling the plug on their operation and withdrawing their broadcast licence. I would assume that a company the size of BlueBird could quite easily purchase their EPG slots. The rumour is that BabeWorld is also selling up to BlueBird.

4) Talent:
It would seem that many performers want to head to BlueBird. I would guess that is because of further opportunity and higher pay. When pay is raised it puts pressure on other broadcasters to match it and in-turn affects their bottom line. So once again it boils down to economics.

So to summarise:

We are now witnessing a large conglomerate headed by a very successful and wealthy business man heading into an arena that is fragmented with the current broadcasters all scratching for a piece of the pie and trying to survive.

That's an interesting summary vostok...

The way I look at it is there's always a positive & negative to pretty much everything...

Bluebird entering the picture will potentially light a bunsen burner under the asses of those who have been set in their ways for too long, so that's a positive.

However, girls signing exclusive deals with Bluebird is only good for Bluebird. Anyone else wanting to potentially work with certain girls are clearly going to have a problem. Having said that, it's not difficult to see why Bluebird is an attractive proposition...

Here is a quote from one of the girls I contacted a couple of months back, who confirmed what I had long suspected about some of the current main channels:

"They work solely for the shows and don't dabble into anything else. But will always refer us to other people if we're looking for something. Some of the girls get annoyed by the fact they don't "push" us, but personally it shows that they are mainly interested in the product they provide. All the energy they have goes to maintaining a standard that consumers like. A much more efficient business strategy!"

Personally, I think it's a mistake for the main channels not to try and expand or at least experiment with different style projects. You can't stand still in business!

It will be interesting to see how things turn out... Wink
Hi there

I have only read some off this thread and it would appear that we have not heard Ashley's side of the story nor has she, I believe said on the Elite show that she was leaving. Callme a cynical old bastard but I tend not to believe a story unless I hear it from both sides!! Therefore I would like Ashley HERSELF to come on this forum and put her side of the story, not get some faceless person to come on and say something on her behalf!! Don't forget that Anna herself came on this forum and announced personally that she had left Elite!!

Having said that, Bluebird had better be a success or their policy of taking Elite's best girls from under their nose will backfire spectacularly!!!
