Bisping must have one of the best contracts in the UFC, considering he has never even been in a title fight he got $425,000 (inc $150,000 win bonus)
Miller was on $45k/$45k-fight/win bonus. and the rest of the card, all the guys from the ultimate fighter, were on $8k/$8k.

A funny short blog from a few days before the fight, a writer spending the day with Bisping:
http://www.mmafighting.com/2011/12/02/a-...l-bisping/
After winning TUF I think they knew he was gonna be the biggest poster boy outside of the US & Brazil & given the potential for talent in the UK they wanted to secure him to a long term contract. He is on crazy money for someone who's only ever been considered to be on the fringe of the bigtime.

I only saw the 3 main fights but thought it was a good albeit not great win for Michael Bisping, he was knackered after the first round & in the end was struggling to put Miller away.

Diego Brandao should be challenging the top of the division within 18 months??? I also think Dennis Bermudez will do well. John Dodson will have a similar career to Clay Guida, Nate Diaz & Chris Leben with the way he can put people away with his speed but he'll come unstuck against the alround fighters.

The following is the reported payout to the fighters as reported to the The Nevada State Athletic Commission. It does not include sponsor money and also does not include the UFC's traditional "fight night" bonuses.

Michael Bisping: $425,000 ($150,000 win bonus) def. Jason Miller: $45,000
Diego Brandao: $16,000 ($8,000 win bonus) def. Dennis Bermudez: $8,000
John Dodson: $16,000 ($8,000 win bonus) def. T.J. Dillishaw: $8,000
Tony Ferguson: $30,000 ($15,000 win bonus) def. Yves Edwards: $16,000
Johnny Bedford: $16,000 ($8,000 win bonus) def. Louis Gaudinot: $8,000
Marcus Brimage: $16,000 ($8,000 win bonus) def. Stephen Bass: $8,000
John Albert: $16,000 ($8,000 win bonus) def. Dustin Pague: $8,000
Roland Delorme: $16,000 (8,000 win bonus) def. Josh Ferguson: $8,000
Steven Siler: $16,000 ($8,000 win bonus) def. Josh Clopton: $8,000
Bryan Caraway: $16,000 ($8,000 win bonus) def. Dustin Neace: $8,000

I thought Bisping and Miller looked terrible at the Weigh ins and in the octagon. Was really a poor fight for me. I thought Bisping could step into a title fight before the Miller fight but not on Sat Nights showing. I hope he avoids the Sonnen/Munoz fights, for his hopes of a title shot. They'd both stop him in his tracks i reckon. I read that he might fight Demian Maia or Brian Stann next.

TUF 15 coaches are Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber. Lightweights and Welterweights. The show starts in March.
