Initially anyway, it was because
somebody double booked. Storm confirmed this by posting as such in Angelina's thread.
Don't know how long it had been the case, but I switched on at about 17:10 and noticed I could hear everything that was going on; girl, caller, and the producer backstage. Aside from the excruciatingly embarrassing conversations between girl and caller, the girl was chatting to the producer about the webshow, saying that her 'other half' had been checking her thread on the forum (presume she meant this one) and noticed that people were saying they weren't really interested in the naughty stuff and preferred the fully-clothed 'teasing'. I had to laugh when she said to the producer, "It's worth saying something because we still want them to call so that we can get the money off them....". This lasted about ten minutes (of what I saw) before someone noticed the mic was open and switched to the background music.

Not only is that incredibly embarrassing for us it's also incredibly unprofessional and we will look into procedures to stop this in future (like turning the mic off!). However, it's no secret that we're in this to make money!
While we're on the subject of the microphone, it seems that the audio setup in the old Club Paradiso studio has more than one gremlin living in it and we will be addressing this shortly!

Well you're certainly not the first babeshow producer to run a segment of a show with an open mic, Mr STORM. Personally, I'd rather you didn't 'look into procedures', as it's great fun when it happens.

The mic has been faulty for months... I sorted out the problem... I learnt to lip read
