Ask BOJO. He and others didn't want the votes of Scot Wal and NI in the house of commons on English only issues. Understandable for sure, but there is a lot of understanding - certainly here in NI - of the point you make!

In the short term, yes. Which means until Scotland's own currency was introduced.

In 2019 the SNP conference voted in favour of a new currency "as soon as practicable".

Because England is Tory dominated. The other nations are not.

Introduced by a Labour Government (Bevan resigned over it), abolished & then re-introduced by Harold Wilson. Abolished in Wales in 2007 and in 2008 Gordon Brown promised that people with long-term conditions would be exempt. That promise was never fulfilled.

Neither side is innocent when it comes to prescription charges.

^^ I think that N Sturgeon is wasting her time on this at this particular point. BJ was never going to grant an Indy Ref, and I see no prospect of his successor doing so either! Ironic really from a NI point of view! I have to say. that I fundamentally disagree that the right to hold a ref in one part of the UK, should be in the gift of another - England and English MPS. Lets call it what it is, we all know what we are talking about!

Should, though the tide turn, and the Scottish people get to have another say, My view is that it has nothing to do with the rest of us in Eng Wal or here either!
