Hmm I see Trump is mentioning a great trade deal-has anyone told him that Canada's deal with the EU took 7 years - so how long does he think it will take to make this great deal with the UK(assuming we are still United!)

probably 20 years at worst and I doubt any president following will even carry on the negotiations after Trump leaves office

You can bet Gmach, that trumps idea of a great trade deal is not 50/50. So we better get prepared for a deal that leaves us with crumbs, while the U.S eat the banquet!! Just in passing, I wouldn't bet on a favourable deal with the EU either!! They have today said that they want an 'equal' deal! As they hold the single market card, I suspect they mean 'first among equals' Guess which is which?? True, they won't want to push us to no - deal (that term again:huh but they will not sign up to giving us an advantage over the 300 000 000 or so of that single market!. Access to it may be one of the things with a price tag! - a hefty one at that!

What sort of idiots with the mental capacity of a cabbage would ring up the Police and complain that they had ordered 3 saveloys and chips and only given ONE! OR want to know the time? OR someone complain about an out-of-date packet of biscuits!!! Are these people completely stupid? And making hoax calls is just as bad. People need educating that you only call the Police in an EMERGENCY and that doesn't mean if you accidentally hit your finger with a hammer whilst doing DIY! 22,000 time-wasting calls made to the Met Police with 22.491 hoax calls in the first 11 months of this year.
