When someone says "With respect" or "With the greatest respect " you just know they are about to insult you.

When a politician says "That is not the question, the real question is ....." which is basically code for 'I dont like your question so I will answer the question I would like to have been asked instead'. Or when they say "Let us be perfectly clear" which is code for 'Let us waffle endlessly, miss the point and talk unintelligible drivel to deliberately not answer the problem or question posed.

A few use that line as an excuse to be a dick aswell.

One for me is 'binge' I hate that word, it seems to get added to everything these days

The word "unprecedented" has been used a lot by news channels ever since princess diana's death in 1997

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me,either. Just leave me alone.

There's a "word" that people sometimes use when trying to sound cleverer than they really are...

"Irregardless"

Gods, but I fucking hate that faux word. IT IS NOT A REAL WORD AND YOU SOUND LIKE A MORON WHEN YOU USE IT!

There now. I feel a lot better for that. Very cathartic.

RE: Words or Expression That Should be Banned
The expression that most needs banning is "early doors" as in "we scored early doors" since the word "doors" adds nothing to the statement. I suspect Ron Atkinson of starting this travesty. Yes the man who once said "Scholes is very influential for England at international level" and "the Spaniards have been reduced to aiming aimless balls into the box" not to mention "the ball goes down the keeper's throat and hits him on the knees".
