Ladyboys - a serious debate

Its not for me and its the one channel i barely spend 5 seconds on.However if thats what people are in to then fair play, we don't have to watch the channel and if you are in to Asian babes then you know there is a better than even chance this will happen.

i wouldn't mind if ladyboys had their own channel just as long as it's advertised as a ladyboy channel so those us who aren't interested in that sort of thing can skip past that channel and watch one of the babe channels. i think the only reason why it's not advertised as a ladyboy channel is because the people in charge know that a LOT less people would watch it if they knew it was a ladyboy channel so they just basically advertise it as one of the babe channels and hope that none of us can tell the difference.

Like many of you i am not turned on by Trannies / Ladyboys but everyone should have the opportunity to watch what they want. Once you know the format of Asian Babes it is quite easy just to flip past the channel if you channel hop like i do because i have many favourite babes on various channels.

As a matter of interest i did stop the one night as i was intrigued and i think you can spot the Ladyboys by their attire. I've been to Thailand more times than i can count over the years and i can assure you that "picking up a beautiful Thai girl only to find that they are carrying meat and two veg" is pretty much an Urban Myth.....People generally love to think that it happens a lot, but in truth if happens rarely, hardly at all in fact. Even a semi-trained eye can generally spot them a mile off and the fact is that the Ladyboys themselves really are not interested in the kind of "surprise action" that you describe. They are very much looking for punters that actually WANT the service that they provide, in exactly the same way as the girls. They are far more likely to actually "put off" a punter that was about to make a serious mistake, rather than let the situation get back to the hotel room and a potential problem.

(The other "Urban Myth" that i'll put to rest here is that old chestnut about "i found out she was a bloke, so i kicked the shit out of him".......Most Thai Ladyboys can FIGHT, the vast majority of them better than most "genuine" blokes, trust me on that one)

My point being, is that most likely the same differential exists for the Ladyboy showing his/her wares on tv......They're not trying to trick or fool anybody, particularly not if they're genuine Thai. They are looking for phone callers that actually like Ladyboys and there must be quite a few (not me personally, i hasten to add ) the ones that i've seen seem pretty busy to me.

But isn't it the very essence of the 900 channels that they should be allowed to exist if they're making the channel owners money? Stan, it's a bit of a contradiction in terms if you want to complain about Ofcom continually poking their noses in, (so much so that you've started a blog to that effect) yet on the other hand you want to ban this type of titillation, which in effect is all it is. It may not be your bag, (it's not mine either) but i would give you the same advice that you would very readily hand out to a "Mary Whitehouse" type that by "pure chance" stumbled across a "disgusting 900 channel babe with her tits out and one hand down her g-string" and was about to pick up the phone and dial Ofcom.......

Point your remote at the tv and change the channel, bud.

Im surprised there isnt a shemale channel,a lesbian channel,a gay channel,a bi channel,an old lady channel and so on. If its to fall in line with the 'demands' of internet porn, then anything and everything should go. I'm not homophobic - the stock answer for every homophobe that's ever lived, I know - but in this case it's true. I just don't think they have any place on a babe channel. If any discriminatory behaviour is happening here, it's against the straight man, as he is the one who now finds he can no longer enjoy a channel he used to.

Now personally i hold no prejudice towards people with differing sexual tendancies but I think really they should be making it more clear on this channel that its possible you could be talking to a guy.

As has already been stated I think there is a place for a Gay,Lesbian, s&m etc etc channels, but it needs to be clearly identified as such. As for the "ladyboys" popularity Stan obviously its each to their own. Many guys are gonna be into that kind of thing, I dont really know what surprises you about that.
