Ladyboys - a serious debate

I'd be interested to know what people's views are on this - without all the silly innuendoes and childish notion that all Thai women are actually ladyboys. I know this channel gets very few viewers - especialy from those that contribute to this forum on a regular basis - but that still doesn't stop those people giving their opinion.

My own view is that I have serious problems with their inclusion. Asian Babes (as the name suggests) is a 'Babe Channel' - a channel for babes. A channel for hetrosexual males to get their rocks off to. Now some will argue that enjoying these ladyboys doesn't necessarily make you queer, but the counter-argument to that would be that wanting to watch these boys thrusting their packets into the camera and miming felatio, isn't exactly the desires of your avergae hetrosexual either.

Furthermore, their obvious popularity leaves me completely baffled. Why would a person surfing through the babe channels stop at 949 and decide they'd like a bit of ladyboy action? Who is it that's phoning them, and why are they doing so?

I'm not homophobic - the stock answer for every homophobe that's ever lived, I know - but in this case it's true. I just don't think they have any place on a babe channel. If any discriminatory behaviour is happening here, it's against the straight man, as he is the one who now finds he can no longer enjoy a channel he used to.

"If you're receiving, you're not gay."

"It's not gay sex, it's an initiation rite"

All justifications used by "straight" men over the ages to justify bi-sexual urges and behaviours. "Straight" isn't a sexual predilection, it's a political label people apply to themselves. Our current society is one which still discriminates against same sex preferences. The very need to for people to label themselves as "Straight", "Bi", "Gay" or whatever, is proof of this. In a truly equal society such labelling would be unnecessary, as no-one would care enough to bother with the label. There are a lot of men who have these urges but label themselves as "straight". Should the option to express them only be available through "gay" targeted channels those men would never even switch on those channels to see. Having that option on a "straight" channel, allows men whose tastes run more colourful than vanilla to have an outlet, without having to apply a label to themselves that they don't want.

It's a very smart move by whoever runs Asian Babes to do this. They've found a niche and are playing it to the hilt. I say good luck to them. It doesn't put me off watching a porno when there's a man on screen at the same time as a woman, so it doesn't put me off watching a channel if there's a transvestite/transexual on at the same time as a woman.

Wow, Alan Partridge will be tuning in, I'm sure.

Although I used to quite enjoy it, I don't view that channel much (and certainly won't be again), but, when I did I had no idea about any ladyboys!

ha ha, sometimes i sit and watch them for ages, im just gutted that the ladyboys have better tits then me! Ha! Have you noticed that the ladyboys are on the phones more then the other girls? Well l have to say they don't do anything for me personally and l do wonder if some of the people ringing up actually realise they are talking to a transvestite/transsexual person how many guys have been to Thailand picked up a beautiful girl only to find there carrying meat and two veg. There should be some indication on screen to make callers aware that they may be talking to a transvestite/transsexual person.
There is obviously a market for it because the girls/guys always seem to be busy on the phone so good luck to them it's just not my cup of tea.

I really don't care what a person gets turned on by as long as it's all consensual and doesn't hurt anyone else. However, mixing ladyboys in with a pack of girls is just as ridiculous as putting a hyper-menapausal, sideburn sporting woman in a gay pornal and expecting nobody to care or notice. The cynic in me says it has nothing to do with the broadcaster 'appealing to niches', rather that it's more a case of 'you get what you pay for'...

It's usually obvious if you are looking at a man in drag ...but it's notoriously difficult for men or women to distinguish a transsexual from a woman at first glance, even more so at low resolution and with a horn on. Of course ladyboy lovers find this highly amusing, but the rest of us just don't bother watching the channel or risk an uncomfortable moment of realisation such as this

mmmmmmm ladyboys!

I could not hardly care to be honest - i don't watch the channel, i never have really, and i have no plan to, it's most certainly the worst babe channel out there - so why care so much about?

I assume this channel is the most least viewed/watched and it probably only has a small minority of followers.
Asian Babes has no appeal to me as im not into Asian women and it kind of ruins it all when you find out there men

Maybe they couldn't find many genuine decent Asian babes to put on this channel so they turn to men? who knows?

Could be the reason that these 'ladyboys' do have appeal to some people - some are into that sort of thing and maybe the channel is using that as a ploy or a gimmick so to say, to attempt to get more callers/viewers of that nature.

Don't want to go to into the subject so i'll leave it at that, couldn't care less what they decide to do with this waste of a channel but all i know is i won't be watching..
