To be honest I thought it was pretty shit, I see where your coming from groundnpound with Hominick,Guillard & Mitrione but I can't stand all the US military shit about how their country & armed forces are the greatest thing on earth, yes it was for a good cause but the whole USA, USA bollocks does my head in, also the setting & lack of crowd made it a bit like watching a 0-0 Arsenal home game.

lol I get ur frustration mate..It was a bit of a damp atmosphere.The last Fight For The Troops was aswell.Don't think the troops are allowed beer n stuff which always helps the crowd get into it... but i get u.

I don't mind the patriotic thing.Think they should host a similar event over here though as our lads deserve it too.

As a "fight night" type card goes i enjoyed it.3 first round finishes in the main fights and 3 potential stars in the making came out of it so for me it was good.Minus the atmosphere.

fall from grace of two time ufc heavyweight champ tim sylvia, he looked out of shape and got stopped in 30 secs this weekend, bit of an early stoppage but he was rocked pretty bad.

I don't know what event that was at but it looked like some local leisure center shit, If so then I think 'grace' got in some trouble in the pool next door & poor old Timmy... Well he just fell!!!
The ref looked like he had a shocker though

Nice one 199lives I forgot about the Strikeforce event as I usually set a reminder on the Sky tv guide, I hope someone else picks up Strikeforce from now on & hopefully ont that shitty PPV Primetime.

wow Tim Sylvia... looks like that's his first fight he's so out of shape it's unreal. Dont think there will be anybody in his "condition" that wins the UFC titles now, gotta be in shape and on form.

This could be one of the events of the year.All of the Main Card fights look great.

Before the main event look out for Submission specialist Carlos Rocha and a potentially awesome fight between Jon Jones and Ryan Bader.There's also an immense looking fight between two legendary fighters in Forrest Griffin and Rich Franklin.

The Main Event....Silva is Silva so who knows what were gonna see! He's going for a 14th victory on the bounce and a possible fight against GSP if he wins so i think we might get something special from him.Belfort is a good fighter but for me could be a bit over rated...His powerful striking could cause Silva some problems though,if he can catch him....Should be interesting.

I won't see the event till late Sunday so won't log on again til Monday.Don't wanna see any spoilers!!!
