Some interesting information has been provided by captured Russian soldiers that they were given fuel and food to last 3 days. Interesting because it confirms the expected timescale of the original invasion plan.

hope its just a case of them preparing them and getting spares and stuff ready for delivery but not getting my hopes up

Borrell jumped the gun on the MiG deal. It looks like he sold the idea to the Ukrainians before he bothered to ask anyone else. The Polish PM stood next to Jens Stoltenberg on Tuesday and said it wasn't happening so that should tell you who actually put a stop to it.


As for what exactly we're sending, well all those C17 flights in the weeks before & since the invasion started are carrying a lot of something. We don't really need to announce any more than that.

Yes and the failure of Russia’s initial thrusts into Ukraine means it has now resorted to using artillery and is indiscriminantly shelling cities non-stop.

So in addition to a new law which provides jail terms of up to 15 years for those reporting any non-official version of the war, Russia is now further cracking down on independent information by blocking access to Facebook and Twitter.

Apparently the Russians have been shelling the civilian corridor, so that's halted part of the evacuation.
They really are going to level Ukraine and they genuinely don't care, their military is a disgrace. Horrible stuff.

It looks like it's been a bad couple of days for the Russian Airforce.
There's a mention that they could have lost up to 10 aircraft and helicopters.

I get the feeling that even if half the Russian military were taken out (not likely now of course, given the numbers involved), Putin would still demand they press on. The rumours of them taking mobile crematoriums to burn their dead (probably their victims too), so that they can hide the true number of losses is just evil. Anyone that cheers this horror on, whether it be online, here in the UK or anywhere needs to be muted.

I see that we stopped 150 Ukrainian women and children at Calais yesterday when they tried to travel across to Dover.
