Lois Boisson has sensationally kept French hopes alive in the singles by claiming a 3-6 6-4 6-4 win against 3rd seed Jessica Pegula.
Boisson, a wildcard is ranked 361 in the world but was roared home by the Chatrier court crowd to a stunning triumph to reach the quarter finals.

Gotta say apart from Lois Boisson that is the best Women's Quarter-Final line up in years in any Grand Slam , Women's Tennis has been back in a great place for a few years now and this just proves it.

With Sabalenka and Swiatek dominating their respective Grand Slams , this is what you want to see and other players just staying at the top like they always used to instead of just disappearing , having there time at the top for a couple years and that's it.

British singles interest is over.
Jack Draper lost in four sets to Alexander Bublik while Cameron Norrie was brushed aside in straight sets by Novak Djokovic.

Norrie can take heart from losing to a much better opponent, whilst Draper will kick himself for throwing away a great chance.

Coco Gauff eventually battled past Madison Keys in the all American tussle 6-7 (6-8) 6-4 6-1.

She will face the French giant killing machine that is Lois Boisson who stunned Mirra Andreeva 7-6 (8-6) 6-3 to reach the last four
