He probably could be part of new Big Four in tennis once Djokovic retires. And who the othe other three are we will have to see.

Emma Raducanu has pulled out of next week's tennis thing to give her more recovery time from last week's setback.

Team GB have qualified for the BJK Cup Finals after beating Netherlands in a decisive tie by two matches to one.

Sonay Kartal gave GB the lead with a 6-4 4-6 6-1 victory against Eva Vedder.
But Katie Boulter was beaten 6-4 6-3 by Suzan Lamens to level up the tie.

So to the doubles in which Boulter regrouped and in partnership with Jodie Burrage beat Lamens and Demi Schuurs 6-2 6-2 to win the contest.

Phew! Good to see that Kartal and co have shown there is talent beyond the Raducanu hype.

That said, in ER news, she might be getting Mark Petchey as a coach, he having done good things for Andy Murray back in the day.

Yep Sonay Kartal is doing really well in 2025. Improving steadily all the time. Great to see.

Three good wins for the British men at The Madrid Open. Jacob Fearnley claimed a notable scalp by beating Tomas Machac 1-6 6-3 6-2 while a superb Cameron Norrie saw off Jiri Lehecka 2-6 6-4 6-0.
Jack Draper progressed with a 6-3 6-4 win over Tallon Griekspoor.

The mass power outage affected play yesterday. Not sure yet what is happening today.

Jack Draper is into the last eight in Madrid after convincingly beating Tommy Paul 6-2 6-2.

And now into the semi finals with a 6-0 6-4 victory over Matteo Arnaldi.
