Also Christian Bale has recently suggested that he's not entirely against the idea of wear the cape and cowl again.The Break-Up screenwriter Jeremy Garelick has been brought aboard New Line's reboot of the Police Academy franchise. Deadline reports that he'll be doing rewrites on the current script which was done by David Diamond and David Weissman.

bryan singer (usual suspects, xmen, x2, xmen 1st class) will be directing the reimagine version of battlestar galactica (saga of a star world, the 3part episode of series one, 1978). it is unknown what the difference between the original and the new one are yet but the plot will be the same. i hope if this is succesful they should a sequal and create their own battlestar galatica universe. syfy did a mini series back in 2003 and in 2004 launched their own series and a prequal series caprica and a possible new spinoff called blood and chrome. there can be only one starbuck, dirk benefict and one apollo, richard hatch who guest starred in the reimagined series as terrorist tom zarek opposite jamie bamber who is the new apollo. i thought his superman film was pretty good and brandon roth looked similar to christopher reeve as clark kent.

He's fighting a losing battle before he even starts. His new version will not be compared to the original, but to the reimagined version of the last 10 years or so, which in my opinion is one of the best TV shows of the last 20 years.
