Judd just came back from China, and he won yesterday. Zhao Xintong just got back from China where he played a tough semi-final, and he was sensational today. I don't know why Tubbs thinks he's special and he can use it as an excuse for his loss.

98% pot success for Zhao Xintong this afternoon as he demolished Mark Allen 4-0, only allowing Allen to score 1 point.

The other match was a bit closer, Kyren took a 3-0 lead, but Lisowski took the next 3 frames to level at 3-3. a 122 break by Kyren to win 4-3 put an end to Lisowski's comeback.

Tonight's match between the 2 most recent World Champions will decide who the next player to get to the semi-final will be.

Zhao Xintong is amazing! Got off the plane from China this morning, beat Mark Allen 4-0 in the afternoon, and still had the stamina to beat Kyren 6-5 on the black in a thriller!

Pleased for him, I hope he manages to win at least one trophy on the way to Sheffield.

Ostensibly two very good semi-finals, and one worthy winner at the end of it. Which is nice.

Zhao started off well, winning the first 2 frames, but Judd got the better of the later exchanges, making 5 over 60 breaks in the next 6 frames in taking them all to win 6-2.
