Dallas Cowboys produced a storming comeback from 0-14 down to shatter the Eagles 24-21 with a last second field goal clincher. Hugely important win that for the home team.

Another good week of games going down to the wire and into OT in some cases

Always nice when Dolphins are on a bye and can just watch stress free.

Results weren't great for our admittedly incredibly slim playoff chances though

It's not totally inconceivable we can win out with the remaining six games being, NO, NYJ, Pitt, Cin, TB and NE

Tampa are reeling right now and NE may have locked up there seeding by week 18 and resting players ahead of the playoffs

But even a 10-7 record isn't going to be enough I don't think

The absolute stinker to the Browns is looking very costly and throwing away the games vs Carlina and LAC (which is even more damaging for h2h tiebreaker scenario) which could and in the LA case especially should have been Ws

We'll lose to the Saints Sunday now I've even written this lol and nothing will matter in the last month

Cowboys 24 - 21 Eagles
This is not the same Eagles that won the Super Bowl. They take a 21-0 lead before the Cowboys scored a TD late in the 1st half & then nothing thereafter. their drives in the 2nd half all broke down being forced to punt 5 times, losing a fumble & a missed field goal. Having a talent in Saquon Barkley & only using him on 10 carries seems wrong for a team that held a 21 point lead deep into the first half.
Credit to Dallas & their defence who shut down the Eagles & Prescott who rallied his team with a standout game for Pickens who had 9 receptions for 146 yard & a TD.

A very pleasing win for Dallas, really enjoyed that last night. Shocking to see Philadelphia collapse like that but Prescott and Pickens were excellent. Considering all the penalties they gave away early, that is a fantastic comeback win for the Cowboys.

What do we expect later tonight for Carolina and San Francisco?

The 49ers should be too strong for the Panthers, but I have very little confidence in my words. I'm not sure where last week performance from Bryce Young came from with 448 passing yards & 3 TD's against the Falcons it looks like something of an anomaly for a team that have struggled for yards & points. The Niners defence are susceptible to giving up yards & points, but I expect Young to revert back to type & struggle to move the ball.

I'm gonna go early with my Super Bowl prediction, providing Stafford stays fit it's the Rams to lose.

49ers 20 - 9 Panthers
The Niners dominated time of possession, but 3 interception in the first half kept the game closer than it might have been. Safety Ji'Ayir Brown had 2 picks for the Niners as the Panthers struggled to put sustainable drives together & didn't score a touchdown until late in the 3rd quarter.
CMC had 89 yards rushing & a TD & a further 53 from 7 receptions.

Just realised that Tampa and Carolina still haven't played each other yet with the 2 games to be played in week 16 and 18

So that could decide the division but then you look at the other 4 games Tampa have and the other 3 games Carolina have it might not actually matter

Tampa still have to play, Arizona, New Orleans, Atlanta and Miami in the 4 other games (3-1? Or even 4-0?)

Carolina have LA Rams, New Orleans and Seattle (likely 1-2)

A lot is going to depend on how severe Baker Mayfields injury is of course and even if he plays through it how much will it affect him and his effectiveness on the field

I think Carolina are almsot certainly going to have beat Tampa in both games and hope Tampa lose at least one of the other games they'll be favoured in (hopefully to Miami ?) and then they'll be even at 9-8 and the Panthers would have the tiebreaker
