Jack Draper is through to the quarter finals at Indian Wells after sealing a very impressive 7-5 6-4 win over third seed Taylor Fritz.

Sadly the run of Sonay Kartal came to a rather predictable end at the hands of Aryna Sabalenka who cruised to a rather emphatic 6-1 6-2 win.

Kartal made the best of her chance this week. Also good stuff from Draper so far

Draper through to a semi-final with Alcaraz

Jack Draper has beaten defending champion Carlos Alcaraz 6-1 0-6 6-4 to reach the final at Indian Wells. He stormed through the first set, collapsed in the second before regaining momentum to build a 5-2 lead in the third set. The Spaniard broke and then held to force the Briton into a service hold for the match. But Draper hung tough and held his nerve to claim a seismic win.
He will face Holger Rune for the much coveted title.

A surprise in the women's final as 17 year old Russian Mirra Andreeva has beaten World number one Aryna Sabalenka 2-6 6-4 6-3 to claim the title at Indian Wells.

Brit Olivia Nicholls made the Indian Wells Womens Doubles final yesterday, where she lost in straight sets, but still deserving of more attention than naff all.

A stunning success for the Briton.

He will become the new World number 7 when the world rankings are updated tomorrow. Well done Sir.
