Last Week Tonight w/John Oliver
How stupidly self-defeating RFK Jr's health policies are.

Greenland - Sgeul Isobel Wylie Hutchison
Kirsty MacDonald follows in her ancestor's footsteps to the Western Isles, and then to Greenland, where she lived and studied for a time, and where Kirsty was able to dazzle the current locals with photos and films taken a century or so back.

1/2 JV plans a statement piece of public art for St Helens, but struggles with ideas and financing. Drama comes with a cliff-hanger ending as JV stops filming... for over a year.
2/2 Following his ADHD diagnosis, he manages to complete the artworks for an exhibition. Then learns his planned art will cost a bomb, so moves on to Plan B. There are still problems, but he does get something to unveil.

Exhibition on Screen: My National Gallery
Various staff and celebrities pick a painting of choice to rhapsodise about. Terry Gilliam picks the Bronzino picture where he found a famous foot, and Claudia Winkleman amusingly introduced herself as saying "I read out loud on the telly".

Alien: Earth S1 E3 "Metamorphosis"

An ok episode, not bad, I think it was overall an interesting episode although nothing to shout about. The creature effects are ok, the acting is ok, there's lot's to like about this but I'm still struggling with it. Watchable, ok and not bad Smile , being a fan of the first two Alien movies I'll probably see this until the end Rolleyes

Steve Clemons talks to Jeremy Scahill about the chances of wider Middle East war, and then Trita Parsi about how Iran might retaliate to increased provocation without triggering worse issues.
The Bottom Line
Steve Clemons talks first to Jacob Heilbrunn about his new book, and US foreign policy, such as it is, then later gets Scahill back after just over a year, to consider what plans the US has for Gaza, not to mention what anyone else's plans might be.
