In the evening session Hallworth was pulling back frame after frame and won 8 frames in a row to trail 9-8. In frame 18, Hallworth led 63-0 and looked like he was going to take the match to a decider from 9-0 down, and maybe pull off a historic victory. But Hamilton pulled off a dramatic 69 clearance to win on the black at just before 12.30am to win 10-8.
