Why does the battle royal winner face moxley in the same night ? Why is he special ?

Either have the battle royal winner face the njpw guy or use their stupid ranking system

Mox is number one ranked for the world title so he gets a by to the final no point in having the ranking system if they don't use it,
I don't think it's a battle royal to determine the 3rd man but a knock out tournament they are holding every TV show between now and the next ppv,
NJPW nave a ppv coming up where Hiroshi Tanahashi will face Hirooki Goto to see who goes to fight for the aew belt,
So the final will be Mox v Takahashi v tournament winner,
I wouldn't be surprised to see Mero as the 3rd man as would elevate him being in a world title match ,
Let's be honest Takahashi isn't doing the job for anyone so the 3rd man's job is to look at the lights so needs to be someone who will benefit from the rub being in a match that big will give him,

As said before with the ranking system if they are going to use it at least use it properly or get rid of it, it's a stupid idea for a fake sport why is tanahashi getting a title shot anyway ? He isnt even part of the company...
It should just be number 1 and 2 facing eachother for the title

because hes the greatest wrestler in the world today, and Tony has spent 3 years begging him to have a match in AEW,
there was talk before the punk injury that Tanahashi would win the proper belt and take it to Japan for the summer to give it more legitimacy and legend, i think now thats even more likely,

I mean in a living legend undertaker type way,
His presence elevates any match to huge importance,
It will be the biggest and most important main event AEW had ever put on,

So it's not going to be a 3 way for the title then ,
Really not sure they are making the best of things
