Yep, but plenty of respect & silence when there was a tribute to former Bears player Steve "Mongo" McMichael who passed away the day before the draft

Supported Chicago Bears 40yrs now (started supporting in 1985!)......god I feel really old now

Not sure what to call it, maybe the Pre-Pre-Season game, but anyway the NFL 2025 season kicked off last night with the Hall of Fame game in Canton Ohio. The Chargers dominated the Lions 34 - 7. Trey Lance threw 2 touchdowns 7 played 3 quarters for the Chargers with starter Herbert sitting it out. Lions back-up QB Kyle Allen threw 2 interceptions, they will clearly be a different proposition with Jared Goff, you can't read too much into these early games. As the pre-season gets into full stride more starters will be getting playing time leading into the regular season which kicks off with the Cowboys @ Eagles on September 4th.

Due to the late signing of the Sky Sports NFL deal which was only agreed in principle 3 or 4 day ago the planner schedule hasn't been entirely accurate. The Dolphins @ Bears game wasn't listed when I checked yesterday.

In last night's Jacksonville Jaguars vs Pittsburgh Steelers preseason game, the Jacksonville kicker Cam Little hit a....70 YARD FIELD GOAL!!!!
