The Daily Show presents: Jordan Klepper Fingers The Pulse - Give the Man a Prize
Daily Show underling visits Norway and the US to see about who thinks Trump deserves the Nobel, and who doesn't.

Michael Aspel at the BBC
Charming look back over his career, with him telling his story, including Crackerjack, This is Your Life, Antiques Roadshow and more. He fell into radio and then television largely by chance, and then went freelance after stopping being a newsreader, allowing him to work with Morecambe & Wise and Miss World.

The Irish Traitors. But I prefer the UK one with Claudia.

3/4 And the answer is that they rushed onto more modern options like Anne Rice, Hilary Mantel, and then a good long chunk on Gothic movies.

4/4 Lil bit more on books with Kipling and Conrad, but also paintings and more on cinema.

Sfunny, I don't recall either other Wonderland series that needed to drift away from books. That said, I gave it maybe more attention.

Brilliantly released in the Summer, whereafter it ran until Christmas and changed the premise of Christmas movies to being a bit more modern ever after. That said, it's a chronic episode for 4 people repeating each other, and sometimes veering off a near-identical script.
CCM: Love Actually
The last in a mercifully short run is the most modern, yet still over 20 years old. I think I've managed to avoid all of Dicky Curtis' many films to date, so this wasn't all that persuasive.

Revealed: Humayun's Tomb
16th century antics from the Mughal Empire in Hindustan, and a mausoleum which was coming out of a 10-20 year restoration project. The Tomb was an inspiration to the later (and more famous) Taj Mahal.

Storyteller: Vanishing Ice
Another look at glaciers, what they portend for climate change, and how parts of the Alps are withering to nothing.

I noticed that the BBC had added the 1993 Christmas Special of Food and Drink on iplayer, and I tuned in to watch the Jilly Goolden wine review, only to be disppointed that they did the show as a silly quiz and there was no wine review.

I found the 1990 Christmas Special on Youtube and fast forwarded to the Jilly Goolden wine review. Much better! I love listening to that woman talking. What a fantastic accent!
