Ultimate Babes Awards - Charlemagne - 21-11-2025 16:34
For the last few years the competition has been run by Stemmw.
He feels that he can't run it this year and wants to offer the chance of running it to another member. If you take up the challenge then you can the run the contest how you like.
Can you please let us know if you are prepared to take it on, either by post or message me. Warning I won't be available tomorrow. If no-one takes up the contest then we will let it lapse.
I'd like to thank Stemmw for all his work in running the contest over the last 3 years.

^ It looking like there's no takers for the Ultimate Day babes awards. And there's no-one to run the Ultimate Nightbabes award as well.
However these contests are very similar to those run by the UK Awards team. So they will probably both lapse.

If you pardon the pun, ultimately these two awards are the same, the main difference being the format & obviously the Ultimate Awards are run by our own forum members. Some have tried to reason a difference but as far as I can see almost the same babes qualify with a few exception due to differing starting points of the comps. you would therefore expect similar or the same winners but that hasn't always been the case.
There is the sentimentality attached to the Ultimate Awards as they have been in existence from the early days of the forum & have a historical relevance.
All the members, past & present should be applauded for their endeavours over the years.

There is a certain sadness at the notion Ultimate comps will be no more.
But in all honesty once the UKAAs came into being I sort of felt the Ultimate comps had done their job but also run their course.
The simplicity of the UKAA nomination and voting format combined with an entirely independent running of the competition and some actual physically tangible awards imo gives them enhanced credibility.
That seems to have been reflected in the numbers of voters in UKAA over the years which have been higher than the Ultimate comps ever managed based on voter figures declared. So it seems logical to me the Ultimate comps are gently let go in favour of what feels to me to be a natural replacement.
This is not to denigrate the Ultimate comps in any way. I would have no wish to do that.
I ran both the daytime and nightshow versions of both and helped bring into being fundamental change to their starting formats in 2011. I can't lie, running comps was very tricky. I felt a huge burden of pressure to get it right and cover every base to try to ensure fairness and resolve mathematical problems. I did my best to do it justice but even to this very day I question myself as to whether I could have done it better. I also question whether an active forum member that posted opinion on babeshows was the right person to run a competition to decide which babe would be declared 'Ultimate' and therefore by definition decide on the format by which the voting decision was finally cast.
There is and always will be a quaint nostalgia about the Ultimate comps, the debates over formats and discussions as to genuine relevance. I will miss them in a way but deep in my heart I feel sure the UKAAs are a positive way forward. I feel proud this forum maintained the Ultimate comps for so long but this feels right for the baton to pass on.
So farewell Ultimate Babe and Dayshow Babe. Your presence here will never be forgotten. Thank you

This is very sad. The Ultimate Babe awards were a staple of the forum for so long. I disagree that the UKAA are the natural replacement. I always felt that all competitions can run concurrently.

Supersteve247 has offered to do a competition. I've asked him if he'd pick up winsaw's Ultimate Webshow Babes Award.

Cool! I hope Supersteve watches the International streams or reads the BS international Babes Forum so he knows the webshow babes I vote for are eligible.

Yes. Lovesbabes is ready to go. HOF is usually in a early December.
