It's the Open Championship starting tomorrow at Royal Porthcawl.
Bookies favourite? Lottie Woad who has only just turned pro and already won the Scottish Open in her first event as a pro.
I am intrigued by this story and will be keeping an eye on it.

Well Lottie Woad made the cut at least to make the weekend.
She was in a decent position at -5 late in round two but then suffered a triple bogey and dropped 9 shots off the lead held by Miyu Yamashita of Japan.

Woad hit a 71 to lie 6 shots back after round 3. The lead is still held by Yamashita but now only by 1 stroke at -9 after a round of 74. Best placed Brit is Charley Hull who produced a superb 66 to move into contention at only 3 shots back at -6. Former champion Georgia Hall is five back at -4.

If Woad can get a top 10 finish, I think that will still be a good result, all things considered.

Yamashita held on to win by two shots despite a noble effort from Charley Hull who tried her utmost to pull back the deficit only to fall slightly short in second place. Lottie Woad finished a very creditable joint 8th.
