UEFA Champions League - Jamie's Knight - 31-05-2025 21:07

Who had PSG 2-0 up at the break?

Is there any way back for Inter?

Could they do a miracle like Liverpool?

I was expecting a high scoring final not a total ruthless performance by PSG considering they have NEVER won this competition

I think my £15 on PSG at 6/5 is safe now Smile

Do we think that all the good teams were on one side of the draw. It was 5-0 and could easily have been 10-0
I mean the PSG goalkeeper could have had the night off. He was the difference when they played all the English teams.

No definitely not. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Inter and Barceleona are all ranked by UEFA in the top 10 European teams.

In fact if you go by the the UEFA rankings for all the clubs in the last 16 then Inter's half of the draw was actually the stronger, although the difference is very small.

It's probably fair to call it very balanced between the two sides of the draw.

It's kind of hilarious that when Mbappe left PSG for Real Madrid, one of his reasons was that he wanted to win the Champions League. PSG without Mbappe only went and won it!

A lot of media outlets making that point but I think his dream was to olay for Real Madrid one day. He still has the chance to win it a fair few times with them.
