R.I.P Denis Law - Snooks - 17-01-2025 19:35
Former Scotland and Manchester United footballer Denis Law has passed away at the age of 84.
He remains the joint top goalscorer for his country alongside Kenny Dalglish and also won the Ballon d'or.
Sincerest condolences to all his friends and family at this very sad time. A terrible loss.

There are no other words I can add to those as I'm listening to tributes to him on 5 live now
A really sad day for football as we now have lost forever the last of probably the most iconic forward line in 70's British football.
My sincere condolences to his family, friends, and Manchester United fans and family.
RIP to the King of the Stretford End.
In today's football he would be simply irreplaceable in any team.

A legend of not just of United & Scotland but of my city Aberdeen. There is a statue of him in the city centre & i currently live less than a mile from his secondary school

scoring 237 goals in 404 appearances for United at a ratio of 0.58 per game which I think is pretty impressive considering how football was back then.
Southside I imagine there must be loads of flowers & tributes around it since the news broke last night
