The squad features 3 uncapped players, although Mousley & Turner has appeared in squads previously.
The one new name is Jaffer Chohan, age 22 born in London. The leg-spinner has just signed a 3 year deal with Yorkshire after spending 2 years at the club. Jaffer captured 17 wickets in this year T2o Blast comp.

Buttler has been ruled out of the 3 match ODI series, with Liam Livingstone to act as stand-in captain. Buttler is expected to join the squad for the T20 series.

England win despite a shambles in the field. To start with, they selected the wrong side, how do you explain failing to bat a full 50 overs in the 1st ODI & stumbling past 200, & you replace Jamie Overton who batted at 8 made a first ball duck, still not fit to bowl, & you bring in Mahmood as a front line bowler. Nine bowlers were used today, & the bowler with the best economy Archer only bowled 9 of his 10. Now given a role in the top order Livingstone can play a controlled innings & then unleash his power. 124 not out from 85 balls with 5 fours & 9 sixes.

Still totally flummoxed by the inclusion of Jamie Overton, a luxury we can't afford, a specialist batsman at NO.8. Topley also plays, Mahmood & Turner miss out.
West Indies replace Seales & Shamar Joseph with Shepherd & Alzari Joseph.
