There'll be 19 Brits (presumably just in singles, there's a few doubles too), some of whom are even seeded and everything. Some actually qualified, rather than just getting wildcards.
Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek are the top seeds, though as her first opponent is former Grand Slam champ Sofia Kenin, she might have her work cut out.

Heather Watson has been knocked out in round one.
Elsewhere womens 3rd seed Aryna Sabalenka has pulled out with injury.

Emma Raducanu is through to round two after a straight sets win.
Carlos Alcaraz also progressed in straight sets as did Coco Gauff and Daniil Medvedev.

Andy Murray will not be playing singles at Wimbledon this afternoon, he will be concentrating on the doubles with his brother Jamie.
It is likely the Olympics will be his final competitive competition before retirement.

Good news: Jacob Fearnley is the first British man into round two after beating Alejandro Moro Canas 7-5 6-4 7-6 (14-12).
Bad news: He faces Novak Djokovic in the next round.
Katie Boulter and Harriet Dart both made it to round two but now face each other in an all British clash.

I saw that draw which should be quite a game but would be a shame for British women's tennis that one has to lose.
