Even more surprised to have made the final 3 in 2 categories after being nominated. To be alongside the ever-present snooks for POTY is always humbling, & great to see joeman222 getting the recognition he deserves, good luck to you both.
The Non-Babe Poster is a new one for me, although I've always posted on a variety of stuff which may well be a direction many of us take given the lack on channels, I hope that's not the case, as the babes should always be our primary focus. Yet again 2 great contenders who I respect highly The Silent Majority has always delivered insightful posts, & Southsidestu has more than one string to his bow, equal to his picture posts are his takes on politics & news which I always look out for. I wish you both the best.
I feel like I've a made a strong pitch for all the contenders I'm up against, this year has been a bit meh for me so it would please me no end to see any of the other members win. More importantly when it is said winning doesn't matter, it is no more true on this forum, where participation is all important.
There are some who sneer at this self-praise back-slapping members awards, but it is just a bit of harmless fun leading up to Xmas & into the New Year. We should thank Forum Awards & all involved in running this, including those that took the time to nominate & vote. Best of luck to all those in the running for an award.

This is a great and a thankful experience to be nominated by your fellow members - I've found it very greatful to those who nominated me and it does mean a lot, believe me Smile - A massive congratulations to those who have been nominated and each member have been given a very much deserved recognition for the contributions that keeps this forum going. I would also say this does include those that have not been nominated because there are some outstanding posters who continuously contribute to this forum but seem to fly under the radar unfortunately, which is a shame imo.

I'm a bit miffed and bemused by the nomination of unsung hero Smile - but nevertheless it's very much appreciated and I can't thank those enough who took the time to vote and a huge and massive thank you for something I feel perhaps I'm not quite at that level of yet Smile, I'm just curious what could've qualified me in this particular group of outstanding posters Smile - I hope everybody involved enjoys the occasion and it becomes something enjoyable for everyone involved for sure! - though with being nominated for the Funniest Poster again, I'm only keeping the chair warm until the REAL and most creative funny poster the forum has ever seen (imo), Cheesy Grin hopefully returns - imo he is a comical maestro and I hope he's doing ok and it would be great to see him back posting his amazing banter and just his general presence around the forum which is deeply missed imo Smile.

As I expected, my nomination came to nothing, as it did last year. At least I was lucky enough to get a nomination when some more prolific, more deserving posters didn't.

I don't think there's any need to give commiserations to the nominated who didn't make the final, for us the pressure is off. The finalists have a few extra days of pressure then have to endure the announcement, and 2 out of 3 in every category still won't win it.

Good luck to all finalists, and if this all just a bit of fun, then don't get too disappointed if you're not the winner.
