JoshuaVs Franklin - who wins? - lovebabes56 - 29-03-2023 17:34 AJ makes his comeback against Jerome Franklin - Who Wins? A new trainer and training in Dallas has made him much more "focused" apparently, but this is a huge risk fight. If AJ wishes to make a statement then he has to take Franklin before the 6th round. Even if he wins I cannot see him fighting for a world title for at least a year. Whether he needs to go for european or British tirle before that happened could be one way back into the world title picture. RE: JoshuaVs Franklin - who wins? - Geriisgreat - 29-03-2023 17:55 Hopefully aj as much as I won't bother into tuning into dazn have other plans Saturday night I'll just try and see highlights via YouTube on Sunday or Monday RE: JoshuaVs Franklin - who wins? - Snooks - 29-03-2023 18:19 Joshua pretty much has to win or he risks his boxing career being in tatters. Pressure is on but I expect him to win. RE: JoshuaVs Franklin - who wins? - Snooks - 02-04-2023 01:22 Joshua had some good moments in the fight but they were too sporadic to make it look anything like a complete performance against a durable and dogged opponent. I voted for Joshua on points and that's how it turned out. Nonetheless a win is a win even if it was not as convincing as expected or desired. Good workout. RE: JoshuaVs Franklin - who wins? - lovebabes56 - 02-04-2023 05:48 He was disapponted with his own performance but there are going tio be many on SM who will say Joshua is finished as he couldn't knock Franklin out and more than likely did anything spectacular to covince anyone he was still worthy of being offered a world title shot. Yes his invincible aura has long gone but to me it was a win thay posed more questions than answers especially on AL's desire to fight. but I still think there are mental scars left from the first Ruiz fight that he hasn't properly erased. Taking on Dillian Whyte would be represent a huge risk Even AJ V Joyce coild be a possibilty and either might be the fight that could what AJ needs to stay in the the top 5 at least for now. There were flashes of the old AJ last night but certainly the killer instinct to finish/stop an opponent was lacking. RE: JoshuaVs Franklin - who wins? - Tractor boy - 02-04-2023 08:33 If Dillian Whyte is a huge risk, then Joe Joyce would be a suicide mission. RE: JoshuaVs Franklin - who wins? - lovebabes56 - 02-04-2023 09:43 Would AJ V Dubois be a better route? RE: JoshuaVs Franklin - who wins? - Tractor boy - 02-04-2023 14:37 Dubois is number one contender for the WBA title held by Usyk, but if that fell through AJ V Dubois could be a possibility. If I was Dubois though I would bide my time, he is more than 10 years younger than the current champions. I feel he needs more experience before he faces the divisions elite fighers. RE: JoshuaVs Franklin - who wins? - lovebabes56 - 02-04-2023 17:52 I would agree Dubois needs to bide his time but I'm sure Dubois is mandatory challenger to Usyk for WBC.
