Congratulations to the finalists,
commiserations to the nominees that missed out,
& hopefully no flouncing, 
this is meant to be a bit of fun & not to be taken too seriously. 
Having already thanked members for my nominations in 2 categories, I didn't expect to be here again, giving thanks for those who voted me into the finals.
This year has equaled my most successful year in the these awards & it has drawn some interesting parallels.
Back in 2012, when the Forum was thriving we had the most members on-line at one time & most in a day in this month. I was called Most Entertaining Writer/Poster Of The Year before in got shortened. I made the final with the previous years winner, Dan Volatile & Forum Style who went on to win. This year it's me & 2 previous winners in Snookered & The Silent Majority, two guys who have welcomed me back, & I'd be happy with whichever one of you win.
I also made the final in the now defunct Alternative Poster category, up against Scully cwpussylover, a previous winner of Forum Perv & future Wittiest/Funniest Poster winner. Myself & Skully missed out.
So it's kinda spooky that 8 years later in the Unsung Hero category it's Skully & myself again, pretty sure I've been on the receiving end of one or two deserving bollockings in the past. 
A thankless task being a mod, consider this, he's the defending champ in this category, & has been nominated in it every year bar one, finally wins it last year, so goes from being unsung to less unsung. yet a year later you've all forgotten about him, & he's unsung again. 
Special mention for Reg the other finalist, no offence Skully, one's enough, I wanna see Reg land this one. a guy that helped me when I was new here, a Forum friend, a worthy winner IMHO. Good look to all, enjoy the ceremony.

Wow... I never would have thought that someone with my minuscule post count could ever be noticed enough to be nominated, let alone make it into the final three. I’m genuinely shocked and delighted and grateful for every vote ... thanks!
