Well, as you are all aware, there has been a mass exodus at RLC which prompted me to rethink my own career there.
When the channel began in Oct 2010, it was a 40 & naughty channel and perfect for me even though I wasn't quite 40. Since the demise of Bang and RLC's taking on of the bang babes, the channel changed and over the years and with the addition of the other 3 channels, it slowly became a completely different to the place I was happy to work at. Hence my year off.
Earlier this month, I approached a channel that I felt was more appropriate for me, and as of 27 August, I am pleased to announce that I will be with the Golden Girls (currently channel 940).
So, although I am VERY pleased to be leaving RLC, I would also like to thank them for the fun times, the knowledge on producing live TV, the people I've met and friends I've made (staff and callers) since the channel started.
I am very excited and really looking forward to being part of the Golden Girls family.

Another bad blow for RLC amongst quite a few in recent times.
But more regular airtime for Mellie as a result and that has to be a good thing

Mellie - good luck on the new channel. GGTV have a real catch with you.
And thanks for a leaving message that gives us on the forum oddles of room to speculate upon just why you've moved on and just what is the malaise at RLC at the moment
