Madcatz Street Fighter IV Tournament Stick - sculture73 - 16-03-2009 01:13 Bit of a random one.. Has anyone on here managed to get or had a go with the Madcatz flagship sticks for PS3 and Xbox? I'm just wondering after all the hype what the quality was like in the end? I've been trying to get one for ages, originally had one pre-ordered until the store cocked that all up... Now it's like trying to find a virgin in a brothel. There just seems to be none at all?!?! Minus the ones selling on eBay for a good chunk of your wage packet and rights to your soul, the prices are pure evil on there. I've finally given up and I'm going to mod some of my old sticks for use with my 360. In my moment of madness and tiredness (lazyness) my brain power had not stretched that far. Curiousity is now resolved, cheers amigo. For those who were also interested in the stick, the feedback seems to be generally quite good. However it's hard to judge the opionion as the background of the users aren't known in most instances i.e. their first ever stick, familiar with parts and or modding, tournament background, etc. A few people have had DOAs and the odd faults, but most seem to agree it's the best stick available on the western market. I say western because some people still prefer the Hori Real Arcade Ex and Hori Real Arcade Ex Specials, but they were only contracted for the Asian market. Cheers all. I haven't bought a acarde stick since street fighter 2. Am loving street figther 4 at the moment got it on the PS3, fav ken, i love the guys ultra combo great stuff it is . I've managed to locate a fair bit now, don't know where my mind was earlier considering I'm a part of a few arcade/game forums 'n' sites. I've always owned a joystick for each console from my Atari 2600 right up to the original xbox (beat em' up fan). So getting one for my 360 is a must because playing with the 360 joypad is a fate no decent human being should be subjected to. It's bad enough using it for PES 2009, let alone playing online with SFIV.
