There's still 6weeks to the end of the regular season ,time enough for Blackburn to hire and fire another manager ! Realisticaly no "proper" manager worth his salt will go within an inch of Blackburn while ever the "knownowt's" are owners .If you were a player ,would you want to sign for this "football club"?

And on the same day, our Wilfried Zaha has been given a one-match ban for giving Leeds fans the finger last week. Admittedly silly, but what gets me is that the morons who were abusing him (presumably for having the temerity to sign for Man U) get off scot free

Shame he didn't dive in kung fu style like Cantona did at the opposite side of Selhurst Park after being abused by Palace fans .

Your cup final atmosphere got to him, he obviously can't handle playing against big clubs.
To be fair, you've done well to offload him, he's fucking crap.

Bet Michael Appleton as never made as much money than he has in last 12months .
Another "manager" rewarded for next to nothing.
What has he ever achieved in management to justify 3 jobs in 18 months ? Oh that's right they were all owned by idiots .
RE: Football Banter - shano123 - 19-03-2013 23:40
Might as well let bowyer keep the job, I mean who is actually gonna go der now, Sacking Appleton should pretty much deter everyone from going for at least an interview
RE: Football Banter - alwayswanking - 20-03-2013 00:24
i'd love to see Di Canio in charge at Rovers (i know this won't happen) but i can just picture him hitting out at the owners and players straight away, which would be a laugh

On the BBC footie gossip column, originally from the Daily Mirror :
Quote:Blackburn insist they want a big-name manager to replace the latest departee from Ewood Park, Michael Appleton, and Chelsea interim boss Rafael Benitez is thought to be on their list.

They should make a tv show with these guys, they are getting hilarious!

God It makes me laugh if i dont will be crying
They could have done this last year when they had the major incentive to get a top guy in mainly the premiership.
im actually torn now do i wish for a relegation in the knowledge that the venkys wont want to stick around but mean that will have least 2 maybe 3 seasons without premiership footie or hoping that the venkys finally understand what is required and them actually doing it
