Gold medals are like buses, you wait all week and usually three come at the same time.

I watched the Mountain biking incident. There was an option to go either side of the tree. The Frenchman went one way and Pidcock the other. They both again on the other side of the tree on the racing line. So it was just who was the strongest. As the commmentaor had previous mentioned if two people were fighting to get through a gate then Pidcock would be the first one through.

It seems like it's not just our rivers that are full of s...
The triathlon's been delayed again, because the swimming element is in the Seine . It's not safe for the athletes. Let's hope that they have a back up course planned.

I understand the plan is that if the water is deemed unsafe the event turns into a duathlon with just the bike ride and run elements.

You would have thought they had one as back up before the games started. I hope they come up with an alternative course.

Hold on to your hats.

EDIT: The gap is closing.
The gap is closing.
Pidcock is closing iiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnn and is back in the lead.

Will his tyres hold out?
Frantic stuff.

Koretzky takes the lead back eek
Pidcock fights back Surprised
Koretzky again eek
Pidcock again Surprised

GOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDD

Wouldn't be surprised if the French try and launch a protest at the final overtake by Pidcock though as the two made contact bladewave.

All the more remarkable is that he had to give up half way thru the TDF with covid maybe that gave him the legs to catch up
