^ The 49ers obtained Christian McCaffrey from the Carolina Panthers, in return the Panthers will receive a second, third, and fourth-round pick in 2023 and a fifth-round pick in 2024.
But in getting McCaffery the 49ers get one of the best running backs in the league. And when you add him to the other star attacking players it gives San Fran a real chance to not only get into the play offs but to challenge for a title.
Also is George Kittle one of the coolest guys, he reminds me of one of those 70's rock stars.

^ McCaffery has fitted in seamlessly, in only his 2nd start for the Niners he threw for a touchdown as well as a touchdown run & reception.
Still underdogs for a Super Bowl win, always hard without an X-Factor QB, good enough to make the Divisional Championship game if they can keep injury free.

Buffalo Bills edged a tight one 28-25 in Detroit to beat the Lions and go to 8&3.
Dallas Cowboys overcame the New York Giants 28-20.
In the late game Minnesota Vikings survived a few wobbles in a topsy turvy encounter to get back to winning ways against the Patriots.
In a contest that ebbed and flowed the home team scrambled their way to a 33-26 win to go 9&2.

What a game between the Arizona Cardinals and LA Chargers.
With seconds left and 17-24 down the Chargers score a TD to close to within one point. Option to kick the one point conversion to level is rejected in favour of an attempted 2 point catch conversion.

Chargers win 25-24.

Had my crystal ball out last week, Jimmy G was average & got away with a few mistakes, which he has so far kept to a minimum. The Defense won the game, the 4th 2nd half shutout on the bounce.
Saint defense played well stopping the Niners all important running game which sets up the play-action passing game.
RB Mitchell is out again this time his other knee, only just got him back.
Jimmy G would have to play a near perfect game for the Niners to beat KC or the Bills with Mahomes & Allen, not sure they could win a Super Bowl with just a defense.

Jimmy Garoppolo's limped out of the 49er's v Dolphin's match with a foot/ankle injury.
Rookie Brock Purdy now in at QB.
At half time the 49er's are 17-10 up.

Jimmy G is out for the season with a broken foot. A crushing blow which may be the last we see of him as a 49er. Despite a 33-17 win, you can forget about them as a Super Bowl contender. Rookies don't win Super Bowls, but Purdy made a great start, with the Dolphins defense putting him under pressure. Another great allround game from McCaffery & Bosa kept Miami down with 3 sacks.
