Mmm the very same organisatons who make no attempt at political balance and who would like nothing more than the extinction of the BBC as a public service broadcaster as they see them as major competitors to their own profits which go to often foreign based owners who pay no UK tax!

I smell the hand of Sir Robbie Gibb behind these resignations and of course he was Teresa May’s Communications Director and put on the BBC board by Boris Johnson

Why does it matter where the attacks are coming from? The issue is whether the allegations are true. The fact is that millions of people don't feel the BBC represents them anymore, that they're forced to pay a licence fee to support an organisation that looks down on them and if the Prescott report is correct, actively distorts the facts. I think the trump edit has grabbed the headlines, but it is a lesser issue than the allegations of massive groupthink and institutional bias.

^ Of course it matters if the attacks are politically/financially motivated. It also seems that the author of the report in question is very much Robbie Gibbs man and his full report funnily enough only focuses on his perceived view of "left wing bias" by the BBC including use of such words and phrases in reference to Republican politics as "reproductive rights" and "election deniers".

I'm not defending the edit the BBC Panorama team made of the Trump speech but I'm inclined to look beyond the headlines and wonder at the power struggle inside the BBC where Robbie Gibb is snuffing out all views he disagrees with and that includes any reporting that is negative towards Israel

This 'problem' arose after some shit stirring investigative journalism by The Telegraph. They seem determined to destroy the BBC.
