When I am very drunk I often believe that the ceiling is closer to my face than it actually is. I reach up to touch it and..... its still the same distance away. Weird.

Must admit I have the same,but instead of the ceiling mines the floor,trouble is after a while the distance is greatly reduced,Im normally on it,

There must be some strange anti-gravity thing going on when you are pissed. Someone turns the gravity off and you get drawn to the ceiling or the floor. NASA could save millions of dollars by training their astronauts down the local boozer.

On a similar theme a few years ago I had very bad food poisoning and started hallucinating. In the middle of the night all the furniture in my bedroom started moving around my bed and leaning over me as if it was about to fall on top of me. I can honestly say I've never been so scared in my life.
