Xiao battled through 10-8, which apparently means Jak Jones will be seeded in Sheffield, if I understood it correctly, and let's not take a vote on that...

Yes, all 16 seeds for the Crucible are now known with Jak being the 16th seed. The seed order may change a little by the end of the tournament though. Wu misses out and will have to qualify.
Mark Williams contact lenses didn't work out for him on this occasion as Ding trounced him 10-3. I thought Selby would have beaten Si Jiahui by now, but Si still stubbornly hanging on, and he's ahead in the the 15th frame as he tries to close to 9-6.
Edit: Si did close to 9-6, but Selby won 10-6.

The seeding number changes have the potential to dictate which halves of the draw players go into so could be hugely important looking ahead.

The Juddernaut has been ruthlessly dispatched by a flying Barry Hawkins in Manchester. Breaks of 64, 87, 79, 82, 72, 121 and a closing 81 proved too much for Trump as The Hawk won 10-5 to reach the semi finals.

I had a bad feeling about the form Hawkins was on. Sadly he'll probably win it now. At least Judd got one more century to add to his tally for the season.

Mark Selby has demolished Neil Robertson 10-1 with a snooker clinic of a performance.
Earlier John Higgins impressively saw off Xiao Guodong 10-3.
