Perhaps you could have a look at the lighting, too? It seemed rather over bright, I thought, which didn't help.

Didn't see MT last night but as the Red Light set up has been mentioned - the lighting is terrible. Looks like a naked 200w bulb dangling from a wire. Soften it please!.

Crikey! This has to be the most talked-about debut of recent times. And it was a fabulous show, everyone seems to agree (which is nice).
Much being said about the frame rate and lighting. Hmmm. It's a tricky one, isn't it? I am most likely in the minority here, but I was reeled in by the very filmic, arty quality of what I was seeing on screen. There was something otherworldly about it.... Can't put my finger on exactly WHY it worked for me, but it had a dreamlike quality. I know a lot of you guys prefer a crisp, clear, in-the-room-with-the-girl presentation - and I guess that's half the point - but I have to say that we all live in a filtered and photoshopped world now and if we can't simply be happy with a beautiful aesthetic every now and again, then maybe we run the risk of being too damn picky?
Somewhat curiously, however, I tend to prefer the sharp-focussed & gently-lit effect in my porn as it's useful for graphic clarity in the occasional critical pause, whereas in the case of a real-time presentation where the fantasy is constantly dynamic (especially when phones are involved) it's just less of an issue.
