You know you can still keep your sky box anyway as the babe channels are free to view.

Bah! Was on verge of sacking Sky for Virgin but info on this thread has made me re-think. Why are Virgin so pious; especially as some of the channels have popped up on Freeview?

Hey guys, is there any way to use my old sky box through my Virgin TV point? I'm currently subscribed to Virgin but kept my old sky box.
Can I unplug my Virgin box and then in some way, connect the old sky box?

Your sky box only works through the use of a satellite dish sending a signal to the skybox. Virgin works though your phone line so unless you have a dish it won't work. All you will get is an on screen message telling you that no satellite signal is being received.

Personally I don't know why Virgin doesn't get the babe channels like Sky?? I used to have Sky tv but got fed up of always losing reception when the weather was bad, you don't get that problem with Virgin being fiberoptic, so if Virgin wants to give Sky some real competion they should provide there customers with the same channels as Sky . I and many others would be exstatic if they acquired the babe channels oh well we'll just have to wait and see

it's actually about the broadcast system that the companies use as they only use satelite to braodcast their shows virgin can't get the info.

I too wish Virgin would sort they're act out, especially now that Bang have gone bust. The webstream's of most channels just aren't good enough

The only 2 people in my family who have Virgin is my sister and my Dad, but I think he had SKY like me and watched any of the free to air babe channels the excitement would probably kill him.

There looks to be two new adult channels now on the EPG. One is "My ex Girlfriends" (that I saw testing last night) and the other something to do with swingers
