Not only did Thepchaya Un Nooh lose in the final round of qualifying but astonishingly he missed the final black for a 147 for the second time this season

Reigning Champion Stuart Bingham is out of this year's tournament, beaten 10-9 by Ali Carter.
Bingham came back from 1-5 down and 5-8 down to lead 9-8 but Carter took the last 2 frames to win an excellent match.
