What will be protocol now for these with England who are involved with IPL? I heard at the time of suspension due to situation that there was was talk they would be released and return to the IPL If needed.

^^ Contracted England players will be required to return home in time for the West Indies ODI series. Buttler, Bethell & Jacks are the only players whose teams are not already eliminated from contention of the knockout stages. Archer has a thumb injury & has already been ruled out of the ODI's.
There was some fuss about Bethell returning for the Zimbabwe Test, but it has saved England a selection controversy for now, as he was the stand-in No.3 in New Zealand & did well, the fact that Pope is the vice captain muddies the water.
